Data collected by OCR from the document scan:

• NIP number – after finding the seller’s / buyer’s NIP number, it is checked in the Central Statistical Office register, from where the collected data is transferred to the document in the VAT purchase / sales register,
• document number,
• date of issue and sale,
• form of payment and payment date,
• VAT rates and the net and gross amounts of the document,
• Bank account number,
• currency (PLN, EUR, USD, GBP).

In Comarch ERP XT OCR, you can also upload multi-page documents, the program will find the appropriate data in them and enter them into the system!

The possibility of sending an invoice online significantly improved running a business, another technological facilitation is entering invoice data into the program without the need to rewrite and paste data manually, which significantly speeds up entering invoices into the system. In order to enter an invoice into the system via the OCR function, you must follow four simple steps:

1. Scan or take a photo of the invoice
2. Upload the file with the invoice to the Comarch OCR service, which processes the invoice and returns substantive data to the ERP system
3. Check the correctness of the read data
4. Approve the document in the ERP system

The OCR mechanism is based on artificial intelligence, thanks to which the program recognizes and understands text. You can add an image in PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIFF, PNG format to the program. The program will change the image to text and read the data from it, and assign it to the appropriate categories. The invoice prepared in this way by OCR is entered into the Comarch ERP XT system and can subsequently be verified, booked and archived by the user.
